On the modular equations of degree m - a generalization

Sažetak
We give a general Lambert series expansion leading to a modular equation of degree m, with this we have a general Fourier series expansion for dn z. The Lambert series are essential for giving modular equations.
We also give a simple proof of a consequence of an identity of Ramanujan leading to a Theorem of Jacobi.
