Sažetak

In this project 30 cows were daily fed with basal forages, cereals and 2.0 kg of ground sunflower hull During the 14-days period the percentage of milk fats increased from an average 3.882%) to 4.087%. Among the 60 analyzed milk sample, during that period, 55%) samples contained more than 4.0% milk fat. The proteins content remained unchanged with an average value of 3.255. In 58.3% samples protein content was between 3.2 and 3.8%. In the second period cows were fed with 1.0 kg of ground sunflower hull and 2.0 kg of sunflower meal per day. In this case average milk fat of4.02%o remained almost constant, while 46.6% milk samples contained 4-5% milk fat. However, with sunflower meal addition the proteins content increased to an average of3.385%. Among the investigated samples 65% had protein content between 3.2 and 3.8% while 5% samples contained 3.8-4.0% proteins (70%o samples above 3.2%) proteins). By sunflower hull replacement with 1.0 kg of soybean meal (addition to 2.0 kg sunflower meal) milk fats decreased to an average of 3.775% while proteins increased to an average of 4.482%. In this case only 37.3% milk samples showed milk fat value above 4.0%. The proteins content between 3.2 and 3.8% was analyzed in 45.1% samples. 23.5% milk samples showed protein content from 3.8 to 4.0% (which makes 68.6% milk samples with protein content above 3.2%)). It seems obvious that the ground sunflower hull addition had a positive effect on milk fat increase. Sunflower meal with soybean meal addition in feeding program had an effect on increased protein content in milk samples. From the experiments performed it can be seen that a close relationship exist between milk composition (milk fat and protein synthesis) and feeding program; i.e., higher fat content is due to fiber content in sunflower hull while higher protein content is a result of aminoacids present in sunflower and soybean meal. Apart from these feeds other nutritive factors in forages are essential not only for milk synthesis but to maintain other vital functions as well. It is obvious that feeding program should be well balanced in order to generate good milk quality. However it is worth mentioning that there always will be more or less variations due to feeding procedure, reproduction, stress etc.
