Chromosome Number of Biarum tenuifolium (L.) Schott.

Sažetak
The number and morphology of the chromosomes have been investigated in the species Biarum tenuifolium (Araceae) from the isle Veli Drvenik (Dalmatia, Yugoslavia). It has been stated that Biarum has 26 chromosomes (2n = 26). As to the chromosome morphology the presence of metacentric, submetacentric and satellite shromosomes has been stated. A complete detailed chromosome analysis is however still in preparation.
