Sažetak
During the vegetation mapping in 1977 the adventive plant species Eleusine indica was found on the margin of the grassland in front of the museum in Vukovar city, which is situated on the bank of the Danube river.
For the first time this species was noted for Yugoslavia (Croatia) in 1960 (Hodak), then by Slavnić (1961) and Obradović (1966) for the region of Vojvodina (Serbia), and by Marković and Hulina (1970) for the surroundings of Zagreb (Croatia).
Probably, the species Eleusine indica migrated to Vukovar from the district of Bačka on the other bank of Danube, where it is also spread.
