The Effect of 2,4-D and Kinetin on Soybean Calus Culture

Sažetak
Sections of different explants (cotyledon, hypocotyl or meristem-type), 2,4-D (0.3 and 1.0 mgl-1 and kinetin (0 and 1.0 mgl-1) were examined in MS medium which was solidified with 0.8% Bacto-agar for callus induction of soybean.
2,4-D at a concentration of 0.3 mgl-1 with 1.0 mgl-1 kinetin was considerably better in all the explants for optimal callus growth than other hormonal concentrations.
