Sažetak

This work, written in Croatian, contains about 19,000 local vernacular or common names for plant species collected all around Croatia. Some of the names of the plant species are accompanied with the names of the settlements or regions in which they were collected, as well as a number of other useful items of information. In the extensive Index, within the framework of these common names, the author puts in bold the one name that is proposed as the standard Croatian common name for the given species.
