Sažetak

The goal of the research presented in this paper was to examine how well people are acquainted with the social work profession and what personal characteristics the participants attribute to social workers. The research included 540 participants. Factor analysis helped obtain six interpretable factors describing the substance of social workers' activities as well as six factors describing the personal characteristics of social workers. The results indicate that the participants are well acquainted with the area of activity of social workers, and that they attribute positive personal characteristics to social workers.
