About the Origin and Future ofthe Universe

Sažetak

The present-day situation in the particle phvsics as well as in
astrophvsics, and in view of the universe structure and its origin, was
described. The Big Bang theory of the beginning of the universe
together with the inflatory models were presented. Some difficult
questions regarding the past and future of the universe (what
launched its expansion, were there other bangs, what is the universe
density, is there any antigravity) were considered. Taking into account the antropic principle of the cosmology as well as the theory of the deterministic chaos, other questions ariše pointing out the necessity of the philosophical approach to the problem of the universe evolution. The thought development of speculative cosmology and also some appreciated opinions in modern philosophy (Descartes, Kant and others) were presented.
