Sažetak
The joint Croatian and Dutch project entitled "Implementation of the Environmental Acquis requirements in respect of access to environmental information and public participation in environmental approval procedures" financed by the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment and coordinated by EVD, Dutch Agency for International Business and Cooperation was implemented by a consortium headed by AMECO (Utrecht, the Netherlands), OAG (the Netherlands) and the Institute for International Relations (IMO) from Zagreb. The project was completed with the publishing of two handbooks Public Acces to Environmental Information and Public Participation in Environmental Decision - Making. They offer practical guidelines for public authorities’ officials at national, regional and local level, as well as for representatives of non-governmental organizations who deal with access to environmental information and enable the public to participate in procedures concerning environment. This manual is divided into five parts.
