hrv Koji bi pacijenti trebali primiti radioterapiju u postoperativnom recidivu bolesti?
eng Which Patients Should Receive Radiotherapy in Postoperative Disease Recurrence?
Matić, Mate; Matić, Suzana
Acta clinica Croatica Vol. 58., No. Supplement 2, 2019

eng Quality of Life of Croatian Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Adjuvant Treatment – Comparison to Long-Term Breast Cancer Survivors
Murgic, Jure; Soldic, Zeljko; Vrljic, Dubravka; Samija, Ivan; Kirac, Iva; Bolanca, Ante; Kusic, Zvonko
Collegium antropologicum Vol. 36, No. 4, 2012
Quality of life (QoL) is an important outcome in assessment of breast cancer treatment. Data comparing QoL after different adjuvant treatments and QoL data on long-term survivors are modest. The aim of this study was to compare QoL scores of patients receiving adjuvant treatment with long-term breast cancer survivors, and to correlate QoL scores with clinical data. Sixty patients were recruited for the study: 20 during adjuvant radiotherapy, 20 during adjuvant chemotherapy, and 20 long-term breast cancer survivors. QoL was assessed using the se...

hrv Adjuvantna radioterapija raka dojke - je li dovoljno djelomično zračenje dojke?
eng Adjuvant radiotherapy of breast cancer - is partial breast irradiation sufficient?
Mikulandra, Martina; Beketić-Orešković, Lidija
Libri Oncologici Vol. 46, No. 2-3, 2018

eng Breast cancer adjuvant radiotherapy - when can it be omitted?
Libri Oncologici Vol. 50, No. 1, 2022
The aim of adjuvant radiotherapy in patients with breast cancer is to reduce the risk of disease recurrence; both local and systemic. It also contributes to better overall survival. However, that effect is not consistent across all subgroups of patients. Bearing in mind radiotherapy’s side effects, it is crucial to define patients in which radiotherapy effect on the control of the disease is so low that it can be safely omitted. In general, those would be patients age 70 years or older after breast conserving surgery with hormonal receptor posi...
