The current study reports results on the investigation of the possibility of using 11-aminoundecanoic acid (AA) as an inhibitor of general corrosion of carbon steel (CS) in HCl under a range of experimental conditions: inhibitor concentration, exposure time, electrolyte temperature and pH and CS surface roughness. The environmental friendly inhibitor system arginine-Zn2+, has been investigated by weight-loss method. A synergistic effect exists between arginine and Zn2+ system. Extract of <i>Alchemilla vulgaris</i> L. was investigated as eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor for aluminium in 3 % NaCl using electrochemical techniques. Radi smanjenja oštećenja od korozije, Mannichovom reakcijom sintetiziran je kationski emulgator, derivat imidazolina (MMI), u tri stupnja: acilacija, ciklizacija i Mannichova reakcija. Površinska aktivnost određena je površinskom napetošću i kritičnom micelizacijskom koncentracijom (CMC). U ovom je radu procijenjen utjecaj glukonata, cink sulfata i eluata zelene gline na inhibiciju korozije ugljičnog čelika (EN S235 JRG) u 0,5 % i 3,5 % otopini natrij klorida pomoću metode Tafelove polarizacije.
