Kemijski sastav eteričnog ulja iz rizoma biljke Hedychium larsenii M. Dan & Sathish ispitivan je pomoću GC-FID i GC-MS. Najvažniji sastojci ulja bili su linalol i 1,8-cineol, a na monoterpene otpada 99%. Seskviterpeni su prisutni samo u zanemarivim količinama. Eterično ulje je pokazalo umjereno antibakterijsko djelovanje na Gram-pozitivne i Gram-negativne bakterije.

This work reports a new selective and accurate multiresidue procedure for determination of 25 pesticides in red wine by GC-MS. Proposed procedure uses an original approach in sample preparation technique based on QuEChERS theory. U listovima biljke Leea indica (Burm. f.) Merr. (Leeaceae) identificirano je 23 sastojka koristeći GC-MS analizu, spektroskopske metode i TLC. Među identificiranim spojevima su 11 ugljikovodika, ftalna i palmitinska kiselina, 1-eikozanol, solanesol, farnesol, tri estera ftalne kiseline, galna kiselina, lupeol, β-sitosterol i urson. Galna kiselina je izolirana kao n-butilgalat i identificirana pomoću TLC. Čini se da je ovo prvo izvješće o prisutnosti galne kiseline u listovima L. indica.

Tijekom određivanja kloriranih pesticida u životinjskom masnom tkivu metodom matrix solid-phase disperson (MSPD) usprkos uporabi plinskog kromatografa s visoko selektivnom kapilarnom kolonom pojavljuju se dva pika (šiljka): jedan retencijskog vremena vrlo sličnog lindanu, i drugi gotovo identičan s dieldrinom. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da se ovi pikovi (šiljci) pojavljuju upotrebom domaćeg, ali ne i originalnog florisila (Florisil®). The essential oil constituents of aerial parts of Phagnalon sordidum (L.) Rchb. were analyzed by a combination of capillary gas chromatographic-flame ionization detector (GC-FID) and chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
