hrv Savladavanje nepremostivog: Mirotvorni pokret Požeške kotline 1991.
eng Surmounting the Insurmountable – Peace Movement of the Požega Valley in 1991
Tadić, Vinko
Scrinia Slavonica
Vol. 18, No. 1, 2018
Mirotvorni...

hrv The Effects of Post-conflict Constitutional Designs: the “Ohrid Framework Agreement” and the Macedonian Constitution
eng The Effects of Post-conflict Constitutional Designs: the “Ohrid Framework Agreement” and the Macedonian Constitution
Andonovski, Stefan
Croatian International Relations Review
Vol. 24, No. 81, 2018
In regions troubled by ethnic based conflict violence often erupts abruptly and severely. Peacemakers, then, follow unconditional paths to prevent conflict escalation. The article analyzes the ways in which post-conflict constitutional designs shape the state structure through constitutional amendments. Peace agreements as bases for constitutional reform, the article claims, have reformatory but also obstructive implications. Seeing the Ohrid Framework Agreement as a case study, the paper analyzes its implications on the development of the poli...

hrv Problemi razgraničenja u Štajerskoj i pitanje manjina u mirovnom ugovoru s Austrijom 1919.
eng Demarcation Problems in Styria and Minority Question in the Peace treaty with Austria in 1919
Kardum, Livija
Međunarodne studije
Vol. I, No. 1, 2001

eng Scanning EUFOR – Operation ALTHEA and a possible Croatia's role in it
Knezović, Sandro
Croatian International Relations Review
Vol. 11, No. 40/41, 2005
The purpose of this paper is to provide analysis of the capabilities and the overall path that European Union Forces (EUFOR) has undertaken in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). To do so we will look at the goals of EUFOR, its composition, its funding and actions during the past period. Using those findings we will then be able to assess whether or not EUFOR is on a path to success or failure and finally determine if it is in Croatia’s interest to take part in the EU’s crisis mission in BiH.

eng Relations between the big powers: USA, Russia and China
Vukadinović, Radovan
Croatian International Relations Review
Vol. 6, No. 20/21, 2000
The relations within the big-power triangle: USA, Russia and China will determine to a high degree both global and regional trends, the issues of peace and security, as well as the character of international cooperation. Russia is certain to occupy a prominent place in American politics. NATO eastward expansion, closer links with the Baltic states, and the American economic-political incursions into the former Soviet republics in Central Asia should be regarded as a kind of post-cold-war response to this still impressive Russian military potent...

hrv Uključenost, suradnja i uloga kulture
eng INCLUSION, COOPERATION AND THE ROLE OF CULTURE
Flego, Gvozden
Politička misao
Vol. 44, No. 4, 2007
U ovom predavanju autor govori o: naravi kulture, kulturi mira,

eng NATO Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina: The pursuit of local ownership in externally-led state building
Turčalo, Sead; Kapidžić, Damir
Croatian International Relations Review
Vol. 20, No. 71, 2014
The NATO integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is closely tied to a strong surge in externally led state building following the conflict of the 1990s. Informed by the ideals of liberal peace, one of the key components of state building was security sector reform and a restructuring of the armed forces. A shifting approach by the international community, varying between imposing decisions and insisting on local ownership, managed to establish the joint BiH Armed Forces, but allowed for the appropriation of the NATO integration process by l...

eng International tourism and cultural diplomacy: A new conceptual approach towards global mutual understanding and peace through tourism
Carbone, Fabio
Tourism: An International Interdisciplinary Journal
Vol. 65, No. 1, 2017
Peace is commonly considered as 'absence of war'. Nevertheless, peace - the so called 'positive peace' (Galtung, 1996) – implies a lot more than this. It implies the creation of a society based on social justice through equal opportunity, a fair distribution of power and resources, equal protection and impartial enforcement of law, and above all, mutual cultural understanding and respect. Thus, far from the pessimistic view of classical realists, which assume that the conflict is an intrinsic part of the human nature, we claim that peace is an...

hrv Uloga mirovnih misija u suvremenim međunarodnim odnosima
eng The Role of Peace Missions in Contemporary International Relations
Čehulić Vukadinović, Lidija; Faletar, Mišo
Međunarodne studije
Vol. IX, No. 2, 2009
