Croatian Terminology in the Physical Sciences in the Mid-ninetheen Century

Sažetak

The paper points at the first serious endeavours to establish a systematic Croatian scientific terminology in physical sciences especially in mechanics in the mid-ninetheen century. On the examples of Croatian autors J. Partaš (1853), I. Evg. Kiseljak (1854) and J. Torbar (1854), it is shown that the terminology has not been standardized yet and that attempts at its standardization had been taken.
