Sažetak
Basic financial reports do not give enough information necessary for the determination and objective evaluation of an effective business quality from the point of view of a particular management factor and its total impact. A good decision-making for the achievement of better business results will be made on the basis of the shipping company business efficiency indicators. Depending on the type of information that certain indicators imply on, two groups can be distinguished: the shipping company efficiency and stability indicators and parameters. Besides the mentioned parameters. In addition, activity parameters have also been mentioned in theory and practice
Due to the benefits of the shipping company business efficiency indicators, it can be expected that stakeholders and the management will accept and apply the presented shipping company business efficiency indicators first. For a successful running of the shipping company business dealing with the transport of goods by sea, it is necessary for the management board to have enough knowledge of the management of resources given in charge, of the financial policy, financial reports and of the shipping company business efficiency indicators.
