Hidroelektra in the realization and design of bridges, viaducts and overpasses

Sažetak
An overview of road construction development, involving also construction of numerous bridges, viaducts and overpasses, is presented in the initial part of the paper. Many of such structures have been designed and/or realized by Hidroelektra (now Hidroelektra niskogradnja d.d.). Concrete bridges, viaducts and overpasses realized with participation of Hidroelektra, either as designer or contractor, and often as both the designer and contractor, are described. Basic features of twelve selected structures are presented, and the role Hidroelektra played in their realization is indicated.
