Painful Considerations on Orthographical Troubles

Sažetak

The publishers Novi Liber have announced the publication of the fourth edition of the orthography hand book by V. Anić and J. Silić -this time of the Croatian language - for November 2000. Although in the earlier editions of the handbook there have been some useful methodological innovations, as well as some weak solutions, it would not be advisable for another different orthography manual to appear alongside the present official one even if the announced book proves to be exceptionally good.
