In the present paper we give some partial answer to the following question, QUESTION. Let X = {Xa, Pab, A} be an an approximate inverse system of normal spaces. Under what conditions is the collection 2x = {2 Xa ,2 Pab ,A} an approximate inverse system, i.e., under what conditions does this collection satisfy condition (A2)?
