Sažetak
The sample of 120 police officers employed in Police Principality of Sisačko-Moslavačka County was used in compiling the data about the inception of metabolic syndrome. Although the mani-festation was established on choice of lesser number of variables, it can be concluded that the syndrome is present in police officers. In order to prevent the progress of syndrome into recognizable disease, the urgent implementation of controlled kinesiologic process is necessary.
