The Possibilities of Using Fingerprint Powders for Developing Latent Fingerprints on Wet Non-Porous Smooth Surfaces

Sažetak
The possibilities for developing latent fingerprints on wet non-porous smooth surfaces have been explored. The recommended method for fingerprints on surfaces that are wet or moist is Small Particle Reagent (SPR). The experiment findings revealed that, in spite of common opinion that it is not recommended to develop the fingerprints on wet surfaces applving fingerprint powder brush, this procedure is in fact possible. Experiment findings obtained by the SPR method are compared with those obtained by the mo-dified method of using fingerprint brush. The quality of developed fingerprints in both cases has been satisfactorv.
