Connections of Certain Characteristics of the Situation and Places of Event where Cases of the Criminal Offence Rape Took Place

Sažetak
The research purpose of this paper is amongst others to establish the existence of a statistica! connection between variables that describe the place of event and the variables that describe the individual characteristics of situations where the criminal offence rape was committed. Data have been collected based on insight into 368 police cases related to the criminal offence rape by means of a questionnaire made up of 98 variables. The obtained data were processed by means of a hi-square test. The results of this research have a practical value for use in criminal investigations and especially in the making of crime prevention programmes.
