Sažetak

School management is a young discipline of managing non-profit organization representing the part of management in education. In postmodern society the management of human resources is one of the key issues of school management. Some of the difficulties specific to the non-profit organizations are: ignoring employees, pseudo motivation, poor quality services, knowledge management, dissatisfaction and promotion system. School-based management is an advanced type of school management, which has greater powers and responsibilities and significantly exceeds the conventional management. SBM outlines the economic benefits, priorities, values and needs of the society itself. Interpersonal skills of managers are becoming crucial in creating a favorable work environment, increasing efficiency, motivation and quality service. Skills which are necessary to develop good relationships include inspiring employees, giving feedback, motivating and developing a positive atmosphere. With this approach we build the so-called three rounds of school management, a formal and personal power manager serves as a form of inspiration and motivation within the school climate.
