Sažetak
The paper reviews a possible vision of the Croatian energy sector by 2050, various relations and influences that could impact energy development. The analysis has been made on a qualitative level by taking into consideration energy markets, energy efficiency, conventional and renewable energy sources. In the end, the paper presents recommendations for further energy system development.
The authors advocate a new concept of development platform based on energy efficiency, new technologies and renewable energy sources. Croatia has all resources for its realization. The new development platform can also create additional opportunities for the development of science and economy.
