The author focused on the spread of Reformation in Hungary's part of Drava valley, also known as Podravina,116 representing the Vaskaszentmárton Synod (today's Felsőszentmárton, or Croatian,
Martinci) on 20 April, 1550, which came after the Reformation preachers Mihály Sztárai, Mirko Cigler and others had paved the way for the Reformation church and after Benedikt Vinkovic, the Roman Catholic bishop of Pecs, also helped rebuild the local villages.
