Sažetak
Education of Roma is a complex process which demands knowledge about Roma culture, tradition and customs. Namely, educational level of Roma does not reflect and condition social status, nor it is necessary for Roma traditional jobs. Nevertheless, Decade of Roma inclusion 2005-2015 sees employment as one of the conditions for improving their social and economic status.
Having in mind that Roma are trapped in vicious circle of poverty, unemployment and the lack of education, the only possibility for getting out from this circle is training of Roma for certain jobs at labor market. In that sense, we can only talk about retraining and occupational retraining of Roma.
