The frequency of particular colours from the SR-VIVOSIT-PE scale in teeth and acrylic crowns

Sažetak
The frequency of individual colours from the SR-VIVOSIT-PE scale was studied in a sample of 300 students of the School of Dentistry and 363 patients with acrylic crowns. According to the colour spectrum chosen, the natural tooth crowns of young subjects were found to fall into the scale portion with the lightest colors, whereas the crowns made of plastic material belonged to themedium and dark partions of the colour scale. The effect of sex difference on the difference in colur shades was observed. The frequency of the occurence of particular colours within a chosen colour speatrum, i. e. of the consumption of individual colours, may serve as a model for a more precise planning of supply with the material for acrylic crowns.
