Abstracts
The place of journal in the ecosistem of science is discussed. As a
form of communication journals are assessed at three levels: the level of material component, form, and content. The roles of the journal in comunication, memorizing and institutionalization are considered. More light is thrown on the role of review and intelectual property in the institutional development of the journal.
