Application of splints in therapy of diseased parodontal tissue

Sažetak

Parodontal disease brings about the reduction of parodontal teeth structures. Consequentially, the harmful effect of forces on the teeth causes their loosiness and mobility. In such cases the application of splints is indicated. In the present work the authors present the application of the parodontal splints adapted to our work conditions. The results obtained by their application for a number of years show a very good prognosis of the teeth stabilized in this way.
