[Possibility of infection with the Hepatitis B virus in the dental profession]

Sažetak

This preliminary paper introduces the problem not sufficiently examined so far in our country about the risk of infection with the virus of hepatitis B in the dental practitioners and their patients. The dental profession is one of the most exposed to the infection. In some specialized groups the frequency of infection reaches 21%. Along with the severe damage for the afflicted persons, the disease has also its economic repercussions.
