Sažetak

During the first half of the October 2011, the conservation works on the uncovered architecture on the site Plemićki grad Vrbovec (Veliki Gradiš, Veliko Gradišće in Klenovec Humski near Hum na Sutli) were conducted under the guidance of the Institute of Archaeology.
The southeast segment of the perimeter wall of the burg (SU 50) was preserved as well as the wall that was built in the early Modern Ages directly in front of the aforesaid part of the medieval castle (SU 167).
The conservation works included rehabilitation and consolidation only. Reconstruction was not an option; instead, fronts of the wall were grouted and a stone cap was laid on top of the wall in order to protect it. In this way, both the original method of construction and specific interventions that took place on the walls during the Early Modern Ages were respected.
