Sažetak The realization of the Stupe hydropower tunnel, a significant structure forming part of the Spilt/Solin sewerage system, is described. Basic technical data about the tunnel are presented. The realization of the works in the period from 1999 to 2002 is presented in more detail. Some particular features of the excavation and primary support work are given, and an overview of the quality of work is presented. It is emphasized that the work on this demanding project was carried out in accordance with high quality standards. In addition, valuable experience was gained with respect to the construction of tunnels of small cross-section in soft rock.
