Sažetak

This paper should be regarded as a continuation of the study: »Orthodontic criterion of the evaluation of mesiodistal measures of a certain group of teeth« (Lapter and Slivjanovski). The purpose of the study was to elaborate the norms for the minimal, maximal and mean values of mesiodistal dimensions of the crowns of a certain group of teeth. Additional research completed our previous knowledge, among other, with the following information:
— mesiodistal measures of the crowns 3, 4, 5, are bigger in boys than in girls,
— the upper canines are wider than lower, first premolars are equal, but the second premolars are somewhat smaller in the upper jaw than in the mandible,
— all the expected measures of the crowns of the defined group of teeth fall within ahe lineary presented values,
— the greatest variability of the crown widths is seen in the upper canine and the second lower premolar.
