Sažetak

The Ivoclar method for the fabrication of masticating surfaces for crowns and bridges is described. Ortomat Universal with a gadget for »propping« and a fixator the prosthetic plane enable us to place the teeth bilaterally symmetrically to the coordinates of the head. To a certain extent the sliding movements of the maxillomandibular joint are thus preserved without hindrance. The modus procedendi is presented by means of good pictures. The advantages of the method enabling us to manufacture simultaneously bilateral fixed replacements in the same and in the opposite jaw are quite obvious.
