Sažetak The authors observed the changes in the weight of samples of silver — tin amalgam in vitro under the assumption that every more significant physico-chemical change of the amalgam is reflected in changes in the weight of the samples. The samples were classified in six series under different conditions.The materijal tested showed great weight stability under experimental conditions. The authors ascribe this stability to the fact that mercury is not separated from the amalgam and also to its negligible porosity.
