The results of investigating the effect of fluorine on the prevention and the intensity of dental caries in the osijek region

Sažetak
The investigation of the effect of Fluorine on children in the Osijek region gave positive results as regards the value of such prevention of dental caries. An experimental group (589) was taking 3 tablets of Fluor (0.3 mg) daily. The control group did not take any Fluoride preparations. If we compare the results of these two groups we shall see that there is a statistically important difference X? = 19,81, d. f. = 1. Both groups included children aged from 7 to 16.
