The text deals with the activities of the Ethnographic museum in Split throughout over 80 years of its existence. The reviewer contains the exhibitions and publishing of museum, workers' bibliographies and articles about its first director and museum in the first half of the 20th century. The importance of such a summary is to inform the general public as well as experts of the activities of the museum and to make the Ethnographic museum and its workers a part of history of Croatian ethnology from which it has unjustly been omitted for decades.
