The rhetoric of the architecture (example of the island of Hvar)

Sažetak
In this paper the author discusses of village architecture. For his analysis he use facts from the researches of two villages situated on the east part of the island of Hvar. The author sets up the model in which he creates the some kind of semiological approach to the architecture. Through the rhetorical system of connotation the author analizes the „own“ and „alien“ space in two villages and relations between of the own and alien spaces.
