Sažetak
The article gives a short biography of the architect and town planner Velimir Jamnicky (1910-1945) and a systematic presentation of his work. In his short but successful life Jamnicky had a lasting impact on the affirmative period of modern town planning in Croatia. In 1940 he was elected the first permanently employed lecturer in Town Planning at the Technical Faculty of Zagreb University.
