Utility Cadastre Optimization in Local Spatial Data Infrastructure Framework

Sažetak
This paper gives existing utility registers preview for Croatia and world, and defines concept, structure and application of local spatial data infrastructures (LSDI). The research about local geoportals is done, which gives the existing state of croatian and worldwide local self government preview with special accent on the utility registers in them. The research hypothesis is that discovery, view and distribution of data about utilities and other spatial data sets between users on local level in Croatia are not based on SDI principles. There are derived the development guidelines based on data collected analysis and comparison of the best practices in the developing countries. The optimization model for the utility register in LSDI are also given.
