Viktor E. Frankl, A Prophet for the Present Urgent Need for Education. Guidelines and proposals for Overcoming Existential Emptiness

Sažetak
Modern man is faced with numerous problems that directly characterize his personal life. These include, among other things, temporality, fatalism, collectivism, and fanaticism. To solve these problems one needs a mature and open existence oriented towards tasks and projects. With a diagnosis of the present time, and the brokeness of today's man, the article, in accordance with the teachings of V. E. Frankl, recalls that one of the problems of modern man is the risk of a lack of tension. Psychology and other similiar sciences, along with the ecclesial community, are invited to help man to oppose reductionism and to enable him to live life to the fullest, to be decisive and to change himself. Therefore, as reminiscent of V. E. Frankl, this can contribute to promoting authentic encounters, a willingness to look to the future and proactive life of virtue.
