In today's world in many areas we can see fragmentation and separation. And in the specific field of vocations we can observe differences between individual initiative and a communal mentality, between action and stagnation. Therefore, as is stated by Pope John Paul II, it is important to promote a culture of vocations. The article first talks about how to build a culture of vocations in today's world, and then points to the importance of a proper vision of man and vocation. A correct educational path includes work to promote specific values. A pedagogy of a culture of vocations, therefore, stresses the importance of education, spiritual experiences, search for the final meaning and higher values, education for the mentality and attitudes with which individuals and groups agree. In evaluating culture one should bear in mind its moral and spiritual vision. A culture of vocations includes the areas of anthropology, education and ministry. It is therefore important to promote ethics, a mentality for creating a project and a culture of solidarity. A pedagogy of culture fosters an adequate quality of personal life, awareness of responsibility for history and an openness for a change for the better.
