Psychological support firefighters on the strategic, tactical and operational level leadership and command

Sažetak
The success of firefighting intervention depends on many factors, the most important among them was a man - a fireman. The high level of readiness includes firefighters, technical and tactical knowledge, physical fitness and a highly developed different physical skills, but also a high level of mental readiness and motivation. It is this last aspect dealing with psychologists who can make a significant contribution to raising the firefighting unit readiness and effectiveness of interventions on fire. This support is implemented at the strategic, tactical and operational level of command and leadership in the fire service. This paper presents the activities of the psychologists at each of these levels. The most prominent shortcoming is the lack of an organized system of providing psychological help after a traumatic event and not the existence of an organized system of education in the field of psychology in the fire service.
