Sažetak
State protection from accidents with hazardous substances in the Republic of Croatia is to be improved in terms of enhancing the ability of emergency services and accident repair. The initial step in this regard is the analysis of the applicable legal regulations relating to the application in practice, and a description of the current roles of relevant agencies, institutions and companies in the event of an accident involving hazardous substances. By participating in the international system of protection from accidents with hazardous substances (International Chemical enviroment), which integrates the European level of industrial and economic resources, proposes its application in the Republic of Croatia.
