Sažetak

This paper discusses the concept of war propaganda, its kinds, aims and basic principles. Making use of existing writing on the subjects the author systematicaly expounds the fundamental tenets of the so-called Nazi propaganda as it was practised on the eve of the war (propaganda activity against the United States) as well as during the war Goebells' propaganda "desk notes" are also presented. The article points to the topicality and applicability of some of these propaganda tenets in the circumstances of our time.
