Youth Ministry - Frama in Vukovar

Sažetak

This article is about youth ministry within the parish with a special emphasis on the parish in Vukovar and the Frama organization. It points out expectations of the elderly and the youth including what the parish should provide to the youth. The parish is responsible for the youth and they should be understood within the context in which they find themselves. It is important that youth ministry take in to account their concrete possibilities and needs. That means that the youth should be provided with enough space and be given the possibility to speak, work, have freedom, spirituality and find a person to confide in. All of this will help sustain and promote the parish sense of community. A concrete example is the Franciscan youth in Vukovar. This article describes the way it was founded, it's organization and the regular activities performed. Throughout the year young people take part in activities within the parish community, go on pilgrimages, participate in music festivals and Children's amateur theater.
