Coastal sea protection in the area of Split - Solin - Kaštela and Trogir

Sažetak
The author describes beginning of the study work for finding an appropriate solution for the public drainage system in the area of Trogir, Kaštela, Solin and Split, and presents results of oceanographic research in coastal sea of Kaštela bay and the Brač and Split channel. Objectives of the ECO - Kaštela Bay Project are outlined and issues giving rise to misunderstandings in relations with general public during realization of the project are described. Possibilities of gradual construction of the public drainage system are analyzed, especially those involving the use of a purification device. The development of technological purification procedures is illustrated by an appropriate example.
