Use of omnia slabs in bridge construction

Sažetak

Basic uses of omnia slabs in building construction are described. The use of these slabs in bridge construction, for deck slabs on structures realized by Hidroelektra-niskogradnja, is also depicted. The manufacturing method and installation process for these slabs is given, and all features particular to these slabs are described. A modernized system called Hidroelektra-LK, as used on the bridge over the Kupa and on Dreznik viaduct, is also described. Several advantages gained by the use of construction technology shown in the paper are presented.
