Th e Hermeneutical Turn in Theology

Sažetak

Th e linguistic turn signifi cantly infl uenced hermeneutics in general, leaving the most notable eff ects on theological discourse. One of the best examples for the change in biblical hermeneutics is certainly the opus of Paul Ricoeur, who attempted to transcend the traditional approach to the Bible. Ricoeur, while avoiding the deconstructivist approach in denying the meaning to the text, developed the idea of the open, dynamic, dialogical and poliphonial reading of the text, the process in which the reader has more active role than it was traditionally envisioned.
