[Reverse filling of the root canal]

Sažetak

During apiooeotomy of a tooth it is in some cases necessary to perform the reverse filling of the root canal For reverse filling of the root canal various substances are used. Silver amalgam ist most frequently used. The filling of the root canail in the conventliionail way requires great concentration and skill of the surgeon, inisplite of which a constant danger of amalgam spilling into the operating area exists. To make it easlier we designed an instrument for the piurpose of a reverse filling of the root canal when using amalgam by means of an »amalgam pistol«. The instrument simplifies the worik in the root canal area of upper and lower anterior, bicuspid and molar teeth.
