[Our observations in the application of the fan-type expansion screw]

Sažetak

The authors refer to their observations in 15 test subjects of different age and sex groups who presented with compression anomalies and a crowded front where a type of fan expansion screw was applied. The results, shown in a table, indicate a positive finding in most of the test subjects in the region of the an terior with of the dental arches. The discussion deals with the actual and possible causes of the findings obtained. Concluding the necessity is emphasized of respecting the identical location of the screw and of additional analyses of measurements.
